Parked cars can be death traps for dogs in the summer

Never, never, never leave your dog in a hot car. If you can’t take your dog in with you where ever you are going, leave the dog at home. Leaving a dog (or any animal for that matter)  in a parked car during hot weather is not only cruel but can be downright deadly as well.
Even with windows cracked opened – the temperature inside a parked car can raise as much as 40 degrees in as little as 15 minutes.
80 degrees outside can become a staggering 120 degrees inside! Literally an oven………
